Don’t Let Social Media Be Your Source Of Stress

Social media can have a really bad reputation. It largely contributes to cancel culture, as well as the constant need for likes and validation which can lead to depression or self-esteem issues. BUT…social media can be just as positive.
Instead of letting social media be a source of stress and anxiety, use it as a tool for good. Try to intentionally incorporate motivational content and positivity into your timeline, and watch what a difference it will make.
Take a few minutes to reflect on what some of your goals are? Are you trying to improve your health and wellness? Maybe you are looking into having a more positive mental state. Maybe you have been feeling like you just need a little bit of an extra push lately.
Follow pages that are based on the goals you are trying to achieve. If you are trying to get into the gym more, follow some fitness pages, or pages related to health and wellness. If you are looking for some mental motivation, follow inspirational or motivational pages that are targeted to helping with mental wellness and positivity. By following those types of pages, you will have those subtle yet positive reminders throughout the day, every day. Not only will it help lift your spirits, but it can also keep you on track to focus and finish your goals. You may even find some tips you never knew you needed.
We use social media every day. It is only normal that we internalize some of what we are constantly viewing and reading. Be intentional with the type of information and energy you allow into your space. It can make such a difference in how you approach social media and life as a whole.
